For medicine dispensing, labellable dosing and medicine cups in PP are suitable: break-resistant, cleaning-friendly and distinguishable by colour. Tablet splitters and dosing aids support safe dispensing in everyday ward work. Standard requirements are available from stock; special shapes we produce application-specifically.

Are the medical and care products CE-conform?
Whether an article is CE-marked as a medical device depends on the product category and intended purpose. Where the MDR (EU 2017/745) applies, conformity is stated in the respective product data sheet – we name the status product-specifically and supply the associated documents on request.
Are the articles autoclavable?
Many articles in PP can be autoclaved, typically at 121 °C / 20 min per EN 285. Temperature, holding time and number of cycles are product-specific – we state the respective approval for the concrete product. PS, PC and PMMA are generally not steam-sterilisable.
Do you supply disposal containers for sharp objects?
Yes. Disposal containers for sharp and pointed objects (sharps) are available; for the transport of hazardous waste the requirements per ADR apply. We select the suitable container size and design according to your volume of arising waste.
Does Semadeni also supply private individuals?
Semadeni is primarily a B2B supplier for hospitals, homes, practices and pharmacies. Private individuals can obtain the available range via the webshop eshop.semadeni.com.
Do you supply data sheets and declarations of conformity?
Yes. For most care and hygiene articles we supply technical data sheets on request and – for food or skin contact – the associated conformity documents, each product- and batch-specific.
