Yes. Semadeni AG is certified to ISO 14001:2015 – certificate no. 12254, issued by QS Zürich AG, valid until 23.02.2028 subject to successful surveillance audits. The certified scope covers: Development, production and distribution of plastic products, plus plastic-related services. The certified site is Ostermundigen (CH).
What it is about
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems. It requires environmental impacts to be identified systematically, targets to be set and environmental performance to be improved continually.

What the audit covers
The audit examines the register of environmental aspects, the tracking of energy, waste and water flows, compliance with binding legal obligations, emergency preparedness, and environmental objectives together with their action programme and internal audits. What is assessed is the management system – not the life-cycle footprint of an individual product.

For ESG and supplier questionnaires: ISO 14001 evidences the system, the EcoVadis scorecard the externally rated performance. Each is a separate piece of evidence and can be submitted on its own – product-level recycled content is documented separately, article by article.
