The starting point
Fripoo Produkte AG in Grüningen fills its cleaning products into PET trigger bottles and wanted to switch to recycled material.
The solution
At the Königstein plant, Logo Plastic GmbH – a company of the Semadeni Industry Group – produces trigger bottles from 100 % recycled PET. Well-developed collection systems exist for PET in various countries; the collected PET can be processed into granulate and used again.
The outcome
The result is a bottle-to-bottle loop in the spirit of the circular economy. The bottles are filled with cleaning products by Fripoo Produkte AG in Grüningen and sold through wholesalers and DIY stores.
Can trigger bottles be made from 100 % recyclate?
Yes – at Logo Plastic GmbH's Königstein plant, trigger bottles are made from fully recycled PET. The collected PET is processed into granulate and used again; the result is a bottle-to-bottle loop.
