How is quality checked in the blow moulding plant?
At the Semadeni blow moulding plant in Königstein, Saxony, an Intravis Spot Watcher with eight cameras inspects sensitive applications optically at 100 percent. The system has been in use since early 2018; the article documents the situation in 2018.
Since the start of this year, an Intravis Spot Watcher has been in use at our blow-moulding plant in Königstein. This device enables the quality to be 100% verified during sensitive applications with the use of visual camera checks. The device consists of eight cameras. At the Königstein plant, 10 systems are used for the manufacturing of hollow sections in the extrusion blow-moulding (primarily PE) and stretch blow moulding (PET) processes. The company Logo-Plastic GmbH in Königstein is part of the Semadeni Industry Group.
