Energy efficiency, thanks to new injection molding machines
Modern, efficient, future-oriented - we also follow this tenor in our production, which we recently upgraded with three new BOY 100E injection moulding machines.
How much energy do modern injection moulding machines save?
The three BOY 100E machines procured reach EUROMAP classification 9+, placing them among the most efficient in their clamping-force class. Energy efficiency is a procurement criterion for us, not a side effect.
Modern, efficient, future-oriented. A machine with these qualities is certain to be the star of any production line. When purchasing new machinery, we always look at its energy requirement, and this time have decided on three new BOY 100E injection molding machines. With a EUROMAP rating of 9+, our new additions are among the front runners in their clamping force class. New highly wear-resistant EconPlast units enable us to optimize the energy requirement for melting plastics.
“Efficient heating, with low energy consumption”
By insulating the plasticizing cylinder, we can significantly reduce energy losses and achieve faster and more precise temperature controls, and therefore reduce the rejection rate. The servo-motor pump drive also saves additional energy.
In our factory in Ostermundigen, we operate a park of injection moulding and assembly machines. We use these to manufacture numerous tailor-made plastic products – primarily using recycled material (rPP, rPE-HD, rPET and ocean plastic).
