G&R Kunststoffe AG taken over by Semadeni AG
As part of a succession arrangement, the Semadeni Industry Group took over G&R Kunststoffe AG, also based in Ostermundigen. All employees and the equipment moved to Semadeni.
In brief
Since December 2020, G&R Kunststoffe AG has been part of Semadeni: employees and equipment were moved to Ostermundigen, and the manufacture of G&R parts has continued at Semadeni ever since.
As part of a succession arrangement, the Ostermundigen-based Semadeni Industry Group took over G&R Kunststoffe AG, also from Ostermundigen. The former managing director of G&R, Michael Sommer, moved to Semadeni in a management role.
G&R made articles for technical needs – covers, protective glazing, luminaire housings, dials, furniture and design objects. All G&R employees continued to be employed at Semadeni AG. The G&R equipment was moved to Semadeni AG so that production of the parts continues without interruption.
