Circular economy: A project with the University of Zurich
As a member of the STI Directory, we have committed to 5 ambitious sustainability goals. One of them: By 2030, take back at least 250 t of plastic products from our customers and recycle or reuse them. How will we achieve this goal?
Here is an example of a pilot project: In cooperation with the University of Zurich, pipette tip boxes are collected, recycled and used in new products. In this way, we extend the life of the plastic and at the same time prevent usable material without a further life cycle from being disposed of in incineration. Currently, this pilot project is being further developed in order to offer this service to other customers.
