Plastic Casing as Part of Smart Fire Protection
Thick black smoke covered the Old City of Berne over 20 years ago. A fire smoldered for two hours in an attic until it was noticed - but much too late. There was an exceptional situation when a large fire broke out and many houses were destroyed. For about two years, a new fire protection concept has prevented such cases. So what does Semadeni have to do with this?
At the request of Frey + Cie Sicherheitstechnik AG, we were allowed to manufacture approx. 100 plastic casings for the «CasaSegura» fire alarm system. The casings include a transmission box and a fire alarm central, which alerts the fire department in the case of a fire. Plastic is excellently suited for this because it does not affect the radio waves and therefore, an alarm can be triggered quickly - with success, many fires were already prevented in this way.
Thanks to our in-house production, we are able to provide batch production in addition to the initial small- and large-scale productions. Because more owners continuously get acquainted with the new fire alarm system, we can guarantee our customers complete flexibility regarding order quantity.
