Our customer of many years, measuring technology group Anton Paar, also requires its own test tubes with special dimensions – which are used in sample changers for various applications – for its high-accuracy laboratory instruments, process systems and customised automation and robotics solutions. A principal application is found, for example, in the field of petrochemistry, where various samples are measured in the tubes and are then disposed of. Here, compliance with the material tolerances is of enormous importance. In order to ensure flawless filling of the measuring devices, both the tubes and the air-tight closures must fit exactly into the magazine positions provided for them.
These test tubes are specially produced in an injection-moulding process at our plant in Ostermundigen. Thanks to this individualised product solution, the dimension requirements can be complied with 100% and long-term availability of the item can be ensured. Thus there is nothing else standing in the way of the flawless usability of this consumable material in the relevant Anton Paar device.
